Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 When the checkbox appears

   On bullion and junk-silver inventory (POS type bullion or junk_silver), the listing modal shows Live spot Buy Now. Collectibles use a fixed optional Buy Now only.

2. 2 Pure live spot (no extras)

   Check Live spot Buy Now and leave Instant Buy Now and Price floor empty. The public Buy Now price tracks your counter sell (spot + premium from POS) and refreshes about every 10 seconds on the lot page.

3. 3 Instant Buy Now — markup for impatient buyers

   Enter an Instant Buy Now price above today's live spot (the modal shows Live spot now for reference). SpotPro stores the dollar markup (e.g. spot $100, you enter $125 → +$25 forever on that lot). Shown price = max(live spot + markup, floor, starting bid). If metal rises above your original instant price, live spot wins — buyers always see the higher of spot+markup or current metal.

4. 4 Price floor — safety minimum

   Optional Price floor is independent of the opening bid. It is a metal safety net: if spot drops, Buy Now will not go below your floor (unless the starting bid is higher — the shown Buy Now never drops below the opening bid). Example: start at $1 to attract bidders, floor at $95, spot $110 → Buy Now shows $110+.

5. 5 Combine markup + floor

   You can use both: impatient buyers pay spot + your markup; the floor protects you if spot crashes. Effective price is always the highest of live spot + markup, your floor, and the starting bid.

6. 6 Validation tips

   Instant Buy Now must be at least the current live spot and at least the starting bid. Values below spot belong in Price floor, not Instant Buy Now. Listing fails with a clear error if instant price is under spot.
