Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1 When revenue records

CDX records wholesale revenue in SpotPro when you mark an order paid on Coin Dealer X (or when a buyer pays by card and the order moves to paid). Checkout alone does not count as revenue — unpaid orders can still cancel.
Seller marks paid after confirming wire/Zelle/card.

  2. 2 What gets written

Each paid order line inserts into pos_sales with source = CDX and sale_type = wholesale. Notes include CDX order {order_key} for idempotency — marking paid twice does not double-count.
  3. 3 View in Transactions

Open Point of Sale → Transactions. Filter by date. CDX lines appear alongside floor and web sales. Source breakdown groups CDX separately from In-Store and Online.
  4. 4 P.O.S. Reports & dashboard

Run Sales Summary on P.O.S. Reports for the period — CDX wholesale totals are included. The POS dashboard morning cards reflect paid CDX revenue after you mark orders paid.
Dashboard — today's sales include CDX when recorded.

  5. 5 Inventory was already decremented

Stock decrements at CDX checkout (when the buyer places the order). Marking paid only records revenue — it does not decrement quantity again.
  6. 6 Cancelled orders

Cancelling a CDX order restores POS-linked inventory through the unified stock helper. No pos_sales row is created for unpaid cancelled orders.
