Connect Greysheet API Keys

Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Use complimentary lookups while you set up (optional)

   SpotPro includes 50 free Greysheet price lookups on our platform account so you can test values before adding your own keys. Open Apps → Greysheet Lookup and try a search — you will see how many complimentary lookups remain in the banner at the top.

2. 2 Confirm Dealer+ or Dealer Pro access

   For unlimited lookups after the trial, you need an active Greysheet Dealer+ or Dealer Pro subscription. Both plans already include API access — you do not need a separate API product.

3. 3 Log in and open API Credentials

   In your browser, log in at greysheet.com with your dealer account. Go to https://www.greysheet.com/cdni/apicredentials (Greysheet → Credentials). If no key is listed yet, click to generate one — it is straightforward.

4. 4 Copy your API key

   On the Credentials page, find API Key. Highlight the entire key and copy it (Ctrl+C or Cmd+C). Do not share this key — it is tied to your Greysheet subscription.

5. 5 Copy your API token

   On the same Credentials page, find API Token. Copy the full token string. SpotPro needs both the key and token in POS Config.

6. 6 Open POS Config in SpotPro

   In the SpotPro left sidebar, click Configuration → Point of Sale Config. Scroll down until you see the Greysheet API section.

   

7. 7 Paste the API key

   Click the box labeled API Key. Paste your key (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V). Confirm no extra spaces were added at the beginning or end.

8. 8 Paste the API token

   Click the box labeled API Token or Token. Paste your token exactly as Greysheet provided it.

9. 9 Set wholesale discount (if shown)

   If a wholesale discount field appears, type the percentage below Greysheet bid that you typically pay when buying — for example, 20 for 20% below bid. This drives suggested buy prices in lookups and NumisNexus.

10. 10 Click Save

    Scroll to the bottom of the Greysheet API section. Click Save. Wait for the green confirmation message.

11. 11 Test Coin Price Lookup

    Click Apps → Greysheet Lookup in the sidebar. Type Morgan dollar in the search box and press Enter. Grade rows with bid/ask values should appear within seconds.

    

12. 12 Test in NumisNexus

    Open Apps → NumisNexus. Tap a Unique Collectible preset with the Greysheet icon. Type 1881-S Morgan, select a match from the dropdown, click Get Pricing Suggestions, and confirm a suggested total appears.
