Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Understand the two subscriptions

   SpotPro and Greysheet are separate subscriptions. Your SpotPro plan includes the integration — the software that displays values. Greysheet/CDN Publishing provides the actual pricing data via an API.

2. 2 Confirm your SpotPro plan is active

   In the left sidebar, click Subscription under Account. You will see your SpotPro plan status, renewal date, and included features. SpotPro must be active for any Greysheet integration to work.

3. 3 Subscribe to Greysheet Dealer+

   Go to greysheet.com in your browser. Sign up for or renew a Dealer+ plan with API access. Note your username, password, API key, and token from your Greysheet account dashboard.

4. 4 Enter API credentials in POS Config

   Back in SpotPro, click Configuration → Point of Sale Config. Scroll to Greysheet API. Paste your API key in the first box and your token in the second box. Click Save.

5. 5 Test a lookup immediately

   Click Apps → Greysheet Lookup. Search Morgan dollar. Values should appear within a few seconds. If the grid is still empty, double-check that you copied the key and token exactly.

   

6. 6 Renew Greysheet when expired

   If values suddenly show as empty or zero, your Greysheet subscription may have lapsed. Log in at greysheet.com, renew Dealer+, and confirm your API key is still valid. No changes needed in SpotPro if the key stayed the same.

7. 7 Contact support if still blank

   If values remain empty after renewal and re-saving keys, use Report a Bug in the SpotPro sidebar or email support with your Greysheet account email. Include a screenshot of the empty lookup.

8. 8 Know what costs extra

   Greysheet Dealer+ API is the main optional third-party cost beyond your SpotPro subscription. Bullion-only shops that never buy collectibles can skip Greysheet entirely and use spot-based presets only.

9. 9 Expect low per-lookup API costs

   Greysheet bills separately from SpotPro. Each API lookup is inexpensive — typically about 0.2¢ per call (under half a penny). Normal counter use adds up to pocket change, not a meaningful monthly line item. Use Coin Price Lookup freely; SpotPro saves guide data on inventory so you are not charged again for the same coin.
