Pause Online Checkout When Market Is Closed
Optional ExtraCoins setting: block web checkout overnight and on weekends so you are not taking binding bullion orders off a stale US spot quote.

1 What this does
ExtraCoins prices bullion from US spot feeds that refresh about every 5 minutes. When this option is on, online checkout automatically pauses while the US precious-metals session is closed (nights, weekends, and holidays). Shoppers can still browse, view spot-linked prices, and add to cart — they cannot complete checkout until the market reopens.2 Open the setting
In the left sidebar, click Configuration → Company Profile. Scroll to Storefront (or open#cp-store-market-hours). The block is titled U.S. market hours checkout.Storefront section with live market status and the pause toggle. 3 Turn it on or off
Check Pause checkout when US market is closed to enable automatic overnight/weekend protection. Leave it unchecked if you want checkout available 24/7 (you accept the risk of stale spot quotes when the US session is closed). Click Save at the bottom of Company Profile.4 How SpotPro knows open vs closed

Your extracoins.com storefront stays online. Product pages and cart work normally. At checkout, buyers see that checkout is paused until the US market reopens — they cannot pay by card, PayPal, Zelle, wire, or cash until the session is open again (when this option is enabled).6 Typical dealer workflow
Many bullion dealers enable this to avoid waking up to overnight web orders priced off Friday’s close. In-store POS sales are not affected — only ExtraCoins web checkout. When checkout is paused, a yellow chip at the top of Company Profile reads Checkout paused (market closed). Click it to jump straight to the market-hours block.
