Set Up Online Payments (Authorize.Net, CARDZ3N, PayPal)

Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Open Company Profile

   In the left sidebar, click Configuration → Company Profile. Scroll to the Online payments section.

   

2. 2 Choose your processor

   Most coin dealers use Authorize.Net or CARDZ3N because Stripe commonly blocks coin/currency merchant accounts. PayPal is optional. You only need one card processor.

3. 3 Set up Authorize.Net (recommended)

   In Authorize.Net: Account → Security Settings → API Credentials & Keys. Copy API Login ID (short merchant ID), Transaction Key (16 characters, server-only), and Public Client Key (for Accept.js). Paste each into its own SpotPro field — not the Signature Key. Full reference: Authorize.Net credential guide.

4. 4 Or set up CARDZ3N

   If your processor uses CARDZ3N, enter your CARDZ3N credentials in the labeled fields. The checkout experience is the same — customers enter card details on your extracoins.com page without leaving your site.

5. 5 Add PayPal (optional)

   For PayPal, create a PayPal Business account. Copy the REST Client ID and Secret from the PayPal developer portal. Paste into the PayPal fields. Checkout redirects to PayPal — you do not need PayPal to accept cards.

6. 6 Set payment limits and enable pickup, Zelle, wire, or cash (optional)

   Under Payment amount limits, set max totals for credit card, PayPal, and personal checks (blank = no cap). Orders above a limit require same-day bank wire when wire is enabled. Scroll to Pickup & alternate payments. Turn on Offer local pickup, Accept Zelle, Accept same-day bank wire, and/or Cash at pickup. For wire, read the security warning: use a separate incoming-only deposit account at your bank (not your main checking). Set hold timers under POS Config → Online Store & Orders. 7. 7 Enable fraud filters

   In your Authorize.Net merchant portal, open Fraud Detection Suite. Enable Shipping-Billing Mismatch and Address Verification (AVS). SpotPro also blocks PO Box ship-to addresses at checkout.

8. 8 Click Save

   Scroll to the bottom of the Online payments section. Click Save. Wait for the green confirmation.

9. 9 Place a test order

   Click Ecommerce → Open My Store. Add a low-priced item to your cart. Proceed through checkout — enter test billing and shipping addresses that match. Complete payment with a real card.

   

10. 10 Confirm payment in your processor dashboard

    Log in to Authorize.Net (or your processor). Confirm the test transaction appears. Note the transaction ID.

11. 11 Refund the test order

    In Ecommerce → Orders, find the test order. Process a refund through your payment processor. Never leave test charges on a real card.

12. 12 Go live

    Once the test passes, your store accepts real payments. Share your yourname.extracoins.com URL with customers. Never key card numbers over the phone — send customers to your online checkout.
