Shows & Venues — Store and Coin Show Locations

Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Open POS Config

   In the left sidebar, click Configuration → Point of Sale Config. Scroll past General Settings and receipt sections until you see the card titled Shows & Venues.

2. 2 Jump directly with a bookmark

   You can link straight to this section: spotpro.us/members/pos_config#venues-section. NumisNexus also has an Add venue link that opens this hash. The page scrolls to Venues instead of the Purchase Presets starter alert.

3. 3 Understand the default store venue

   On first visit, SpotPro creates a store venue using your registered company name and address from Company Profile. This becomes your default location for counter buys.

4. 4 Add a coin show venue

   Click Add venue. In the modal, type the show name (for example, Spring Michigan State Show). Set Type to Show. Enter city and state so staff can tell locations apart in the dropdown. Add optional notes (table number, hall, dates). Click Save venue.

5. 5 Edit an existing venue

   In the venues table, click Edit on any row. The modal loads that venue's name, type, address, and notes. Update fields and save. If Edit does not open, refresh the page — the modal must load venue fields, not a receipt preview.

6. 6 Delete unused venues

   Click Delete on a row you no longer need. SpotPro blocks deletion if past buys still reference that venue. You cannot delete your only store venue while buys depend on it.

7. 7 Select venue when finalizing in NumisNexus

   Open Apps → NumisNexus. In the finalize panel at the bottom, use the Venue dropdown to pick store or the active coin show. Your choice is saved on the buy and remembered as the default for the next session.

   

8. 8 Review venue on Stock Purchases

   After finalize, open Point of Sale → Stock Purchases. Each buy code shows which venue was selected. Use this when reconciling show-table cash vs in-store buys.
