Seller trust — phone & government ID

Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Open Seller trust

   In the left sidebar: Ecommerce → Seller trust (/members/seller-trust). It sits under Channels — not inside Auction Settings. You can also open it from Channels (Dealer verification card) or Search / Go to (Ctrl/Cmd+K) with “seller trust”, “phone verification”, or “verified dealer”.

   

2. 2 Why verify (benefits)

   Verified dealers win more sales, show the same trust passport on ExtraCoins + Auction + wholesale-facing surfaces, unlock smoother high-value payment paths, and promote the shop brand — not just individual lots. Verify once; use it on every channel.

3. 3 SMS phone verification

   Enter your US mobile. Tap Send SMS code, then enter the 6-digit code and confirm. After success the number is masked for privacy. You can change the number later by re-verifying.

4. 4 Government ID photo

   Enter legal name, document type, and last 4 digits. Capture with Phone + QR (best — opens a dedicated capture window on your phone), this device’s camera, or a file upload. Preview the photo before submit. Automated review may auto-approve clear IDs; otherwise status shows For review.

5. 5 Buyer-facing badges

   When email, SMS phone, business address, and government ID are all set, shoppers see a green Verified dealer badge (squared chip — not a bright pill) plus passport checks (email / phone / address / ID). Surfaces include: Auction lot seller strip, public store hero, sellers directory, pay invoice, and ExtraCoins storefront footer under Store information (not next to the logo).

6. 6 Auction Settings vs Seller trust
