Publish Your Dealer Website (Dealer Site)

This marketing page does not replace your own website. Publish yourname.dealer.spotpro.us so collectors can find your shop in search, then click through to your site or ExtraCoins store. Hours, map, live metal, want-list portal. Optional custom domain.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. 1 Open Company Profile

Go to Shop setup → Company Profile. Click Dealer site in the section nav, or scroll to the card just above Website.
Company Profile — Dealer site section in the nav.
Company Profile — Dealer site section in the nav.
  2. 2 This does not replace your website

Keep your own shop website. This is an extra marketing page built so search engines can find your shop — hours, map, phone, live metal prices, and buttons that send people to your site or ExtraCoins store. If you filled Your website URL, that address stays as “Visit our website.”
  3. 3 Fill in profile content first

Your dealer site shows shop name, logo, about text, services, contact fields, hours, and map from the same page. Complete Company, Contact, and Website sections so the public page looks complete.
  4. 4 Claim your SpotPro address

In Dealer site, type a short slug (letters, numbers, dashes — 3–63 characters). Example: thecoinshop becomes thecoinshop.dealer.spotpro.us. Click Publish site. This address is permanent.
After publish — live URL, Copy button, and custom domain field.
After publish — live URL, Copy button, and custom domain field.
  5. 5 Preview your live site

Open the link after publish. You should see logo, about text, live metal charts (gold/silver/platinum/palladium), dark-mode toggle, contact + map, ExtraCoins Shop online (if configured), want-list login/register, FAQ. Your live shop is indexed for search. Sample colors (not a real shop, not indexed): democoinshop.dealer.spotpro.us.

  6. 6 Want list & birthday for customers

Automated want lists are optional and ON by default. Customers create a free account on your site (email + password), then add keywords they are hunting. When you save matching inventory, SpotPro emails them with store/auction links when listed online. Turn OFF in Shop CRM to hide the public form and pause match emails; widgets show ON/OFF. Optional birthday + Happy Birthday email. Staff: Messaging → Want lists — also print or download the branded want-list QR poster (Print want-list QR / PDF) for shows and the counter once the site is published and want lists are ON. Full guide: Shop CRM, Want Lists & Birthday Emails.
  7. 7 Embed want-list on your own website

In Shop setup → Web Design Tools, copy a want-list button (gold, navy, outline, soft glass, or card CTA) or inline signup form and paste it into WordPress or HTML. Same accounts as the Dealer Site portal. Host must match Company Profile website or your Dealer Site.
  8. 8 Website URL field

Your Website URL is the shop’s real site. Directories and the “Visit our website” button use it. If that field was empty, SpotPro may copy the dealer-site address in so directories have a link — you can still enter your own domain later. Embeds use that host allowlist.
  9. 9 Add a custom domain (optional)

Enter your domain (e.g. thecoinshop.us) and click Save domain. At your registrar, add an A record for @ and www pointing to 104.167.12.133. DNS can take a few minutes to propagate.
  10. 10 Verify DNS and go live

Back in Company Profile, click Verify DNS & go live. When DNS points here, your site is served on your custom domain. Your yourname.dealer.spotpro.us address still works.
  11. 11 Keep it updated

Any Company Profile save updates the dealer site automatically — no separate CMS. Turn on Display phone, Display email, and Map it in Contact if you want those on the public page.
