Price Check QR for Customers

Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Open Price Check QR setup

   In the left sidebar, click Floor tools → Price Check QR (also under Shop setup). You will see your shop QR, copy link, and a printable poster.

2. 2 Print or post the sign

   Click Print sign for a counter poster with your shop name and QR. Tape it near the case or buy counter. Customers point their phone camera at the code — Price Check opens already signed in to your shop.

3. 3 What they see

   Price Check shows your shop name, live spots (unless you hide them in POS Config), and a barcode field. Scan a shop tag or type the code — your live sell price appears. Lookup only: it does not add to a cart or take payment.

   

4. 4 Use the phone camera on the floor

   On Price Check, tap Scan with Camera on a phone or tablet. Works with the same barcodes as your register scanner.

5. 5 Staff tools on the same screen

   Open the members app → Price check (or pos-price-check?mobile=1) while logged in. After you scan a shop tag, if that item has no slab cert, Price Check asks if it is a slab. Tap Add cert and scan the barcode on the holder (or type the number). Staff can also check Grey and reset sell if the number looks off. Shoppers on the customer QR never see this.

6. 6 Rotate the link if needed

   Anyone with the QR can open Price Check as your shop until you rotate. Click Rotate QR link on the setup page and reprint signs if a poster is lost.
