Step-by-step instructions

1. 1 Read this as a menu, not a to-do list

   Everything below is available on an active SpotPro subscription. You are not required to enable every item. Start with the tools that match how you already work; leave the rest off until you need them. See Welcome — Use What You Need for the modular mindset.

2. 2 Point of Sale checkout

   Barcode scanning, discounts, receipts, staff PINs, web pickup at the counter (Zelle and cash orders), transaction history, and P&L reports. Open via Counter → Sales Checkout or Counter → POS Dashboard.

   

3. 3 NumisNexus buying

   Counter and show-table purchases with presets, Greysheet hints, printed receipts, and professional estimates (consultation-style quotes for shows and the counter). Open via Counter → NumisNexus.

   

4. 4 Inventory and labels

   Unlimited items, photos, stock images, custom label designer, CSV import, and tag sheets. Manage via Counter → Current Inventory and Design Your Labels.

   

5. 5 Display Screen and Buy Sheet

   Live TV boards for sell prices and optional customer buy prices. Website embed codes included. Configure under Shop boards → Display Screen Setup and POS Config Buy Sheet toggles.

   

6. 6 Dealer Site (included marketing page)

   This page does not replace your own website. Publish yourname.dealer.spotpro.us from Company Profile so collectors can find you in search, then click through to your shop site or ExtraCoins store — hours, map, live metal, want-list alerts. Optional custom domain. Staff manage wants under Messaging → Want lists. See Publish Your Dealer Website. Sample (not a live shop): democoinshop.dealer.spotpro.us.

   

7. 7 ExtraCoins online store

   Permanent yourname.extracoins.com storefront with live bullion cart pricing. Activate by setting your subdomain in Company Profile, then add listings under Ecommerce.

   

8. 8 CoinWebHosting (optional add-on)

   Full cPanel on yourshop.com — real email, WordPress (WP Toolkit), Node.js, AutoSSL, optional dealer templates. Separate subscription from $10/mo for SpotPro members at More → Web Hosting. See CoinWebHosting overview and plan comparison.

   

9. 9 Public Spot Prices page

   Every ExtraCoins store includes yourname.extracoins.com/spot-prices — live gold, silver, platinum, and palladium quotes plus interactive charts customers can browse.

   

10. 10 Orders and shipping

    Order queue, Shippo labels, tracking emails, and customer history. Manage under Sell online → Orders after your subdomain is set.

    

11. 11 Melt catalog

    Type × metal content × today’s Kitco spot for gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, and nickel — no Greysheet lookup and no extra fee. Open Quick reference → Melt catalog (type melt in Go to section). Same catalog as meltprices.com. Shop pay vs melt is Quick reference → Metal melt & shop pay. Guide: Melt catalog.

12. 12 Greysheet coin lookup

    Coin Price Lookup integrated into SpotPro. Includes 50 complimentary lookups on our Greysheet account; then add your own Dealer+ or Dealer Pro keys from greysheet.com/cdni/apicredentials. Open via Apps → Coin lookup. For metal-only melt, use Melt catalog instead of burning a lookup.

    

13. 13 Email campaigns

    Mass marketing email under Messaging → Email campaigns — brand kits, templates, schedule, automations. Background send for large lists. Guide: Email campaigns.

14. 14 SMS / notifications

    Short hours/stock blasts via Send Notifications; optional Twilio texts under Shop setup → TEXT (SMS) Messaging.

15. 15 Staff logins and PINs

    Counter accounts with optional 4-digit PIN for checkout and NumisNexus. Manage under Shop setup → Staff and Access.

    

16. 16 Dark mode and Español (México)

    Every subscriber gets dark mode (Page help → Appearance) and a Spanish (Mexico) interface from the header language menu — no extra fee. See Dark Mode & Language.

17. 17 What costs extra

    Greysheet Dealer+ or Dealer Pro API keys (optional after 50 complimentary SpotPro lookups; get keys at greysheet.com/cdni/apicredentials). Your payment processor transaction fees. Shippo postage. Twilio SMS usage. These bill directly from those providers — not through SpotPro.
